This panel discussion looked at the use of peptides outside of the traditional pharmaceutical landscape. This provided an opportunity to understand, discuss, challenges and opportunities and how they compare with human pharmaceutical applications.
Katherine Buzecky is the Director of Scientific Services for Fluid Air, a division of Spraying Systems, and a known process professional. In this role, she oversees a team of Process Engineers and manages a lab housed in the company’s Naperville, IL headquarters that conducts regular customer and internal trial tests on processing materials used in pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, agriculture, cosmetics and specialty chemicals. Before joining Fluid Air, Buzecky had roles in quality assurance and analytical sciences for Frontida BioPharm and the Gas Technology Institute, respectively. She has been a featured speaker at multiple industry events as a recognized expert in spray drying technology and processing thermosensitive materials. She earned her bachelor’s in chemistry and economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
