Measuring intracellular kinase activity with peptide biosensors
Dr. Parker has a Ph.D. in synthetic chemistry from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. She trained as a postdoctoral researcher in peptide chemical biology and proteomics with Dr. Stephen Kent and Dr. Stephen Kron at the University of Chicago. She is currently an assistant professor at Purdue University since 2008, where she has led an NIH-funded research program using peptides as probes for biological reactions. She is a recipient of a K99/R00 award from the National Cancer Institute, and a Young Investigator Academic Partnership Award from ABSCIEX.
